Always There in Home Health Care wins New Voice Award

Always There in Home Health Care, LLC of Mt. Laurel was recently honored by the Burlington County Chamber of Commerce with the Chamber’s New Voice Award. Mariela McCarrie, company president, founded the business four years ago when her mother was diagnosed with dementia. Her mother’s diagnosis and the problems that occurred in trying to find her appropriate home health care inspired McCarrie to open Always There in Home Health Care.
“We are very pleased to have received this award from the Burlington County Chamber of Commerce,” said McCarrie. “My staff is very dedicated to providing the best home health care in the area. It’s an honor to have received this award.”
Always There in Home Health Care offers certified, state-licensed caregivers in-home and in nursing homes where they provide the following services:
- Driving and/or accompanying the client to the physician
- Shopping and performing other household errands
- Reminding clients to take their medication
- Providing hygiene assistance
- Supervising ambulation and helping to prevent falls
- Taking care of all personal laundry and bed linens for the client
- Preparing and serving meals according to client's dietary needs
- Cleaning the bathroom and kitchen after use, including washing dishes after meals
- Making the client's bed
- Cleaning the client's room, which includes dusting and vacuuming
The New Voice Award honors a business in operation at the time of nomination for at least 12 months but not more than five years, which has demonstrated a commitment to growing their business in Burlington County and has further demonstrated the successful launch of an entrepreneurial enterprise with the potential for long-term growth.
